Who we are
We are a global community of values experts and practitioners that seeks to actively engage with the Group of Twenty (G20).
Our Vision
We want to add depth to the understanding of values in public policy with the goal of providing the G20 with evidence-based, human-centered policy solutions that contribute to overcoming global challenges.
From ‘The Value of Values’ to ‘Living With Values’
We launched in 2020, focusing on the ‘Value of Values’ and continued our journey in 2025, focusing on ‘Living With Values’. Our global community has produced, and will continue to do so, high impact policies and recommendations that were presented to the G20 Heads of State for their consideration and activation

Global Challenges
Many of the challenges the world face today arise from global public problems which are rooted in people's behaviors and their response to situations like COVID-19, environmental sustainability, equality and basic access to human needs.
Harnessing the Power of Values
Harnessing the Power of Values Whenever public policies depend on people's behaviors, values – the basis for intended action - are crucial to their success. New regulation does not translate into sustainable behavior if people do not feel responsible.
UN SDG Alignment
By understanding, integrating and addressing common values, values-based public policies can play a large role and contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The V20 Way
Although values play a pivotal role in shaping behavior, usable evidence-based knowledge on how to utilize values is fragmented and hardly available. V20 promotes a systematic approach to understanding values and deriving actionable policies.
